no frames version of this site (removes menu bar to the left, and allows you to bookmark pages easily)
tip: to break out of frames temporarily (so the url displays correctly), right click on a link and select "Open in New Window" why frames? When my brother first designed this site back in 1996 or whenever it was, he used frames. That was the way cool things were done back then, rather like how CSS is almost universally (mis)used now. When I redeveloped the site in 2001, I kept the frames layout as a temporary measure, despite it having become "politically incorrect" in web circles by then. But as yet I have not found a better way to provide a fixed menu with scrollable content that is compatible across browsers (old and new, popular and unpopular).
